Samsung recently released their new flagship smartphone on the 17th of February. Their new S23 Ultra comes packed with amazing specs rivaling smartphones from other companies such as Apple. In this article we will take a look at this new device and discuss its tech specs.

First of all, as you may realise from the photo above, the Samsung S23 Ultra is a large phone. Its dimensions are 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9mm and it has a screen size of 6.8" that Samsung says is 'optimised for immersive gaming'. This makes sense as it has an amazing Edge Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 and a peak brightness of 1750 nits. What is also cool about this phone is that it has an incredible adaptive refresh rate that can go as low as 1Hz and as high as 120Hz in order to conserve energy and make its battery life longer.

Moving on to internal components, Samsung's S23 Ultra comes with three options of storage capacities including 256GB, 512GB and even 1TB. The reasoning for their large capacity options is probably due to the fact that people want to store the photos that they took with this phone's excellent cameras. In terms of megapixel count, both its selfie and ultra wide cameras can shoot with 12MP, its telephoto can capture 10MP and its wide angle camera can take photos with a whopping 200MP. These cameras also have amazing zooming capabilites with a maximum digital zoom of 100x! With this, you can take stunning pictures of the moon.

Before we finish off, we must talk about the battery life and processor of the S23 Ultra. For battery life, this phone comes with a 5000mAh battery which Samsung says can support 'up to 26 hours of video playback'. As for the processor, the S23 Ultra uses an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy which has a clock speed of 3.36GHz. This amazing power along with this phone's excellent camera and screen is why I would recommend it to any android user who is willing to pay the $1199 (starting price) for this flagship smartphone.
