Is the Nintendo Switch Worth it?

I am sure that you all know about the Nintendo Switch by now as it originally came out in 2017 but is it still worth it? Well, with all of its outstanding games and portability, I believe that it is still one of the best consoles out there.

Starting off, the Nintendo Switch has many well known games including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It also supports games from the Pokemon series and has a massive variety from other developers. One of the best parts of the Nintendo Switch is the fact that you can play online with friends although you need a membership to Nintendo Switch Online. However, this is actually not the case if you are playing a free game. Great examples include Fall Guys, Overwatch 2 and Rocket League.

Now, when it comes to portability, it can be argued that the Nintendo Switch rivals mobile phones. You can take it out of its docking station (which connects it to an external monitor) and play on the go. Its battery life is also pretty good which makes it an amazing device to use when traveling. Overall, the Nintendo Switch is just like any regular console such as an Xbox or Playstation but with portability in mind. Its processing power may suffer sometimes but it is good enough to enjoy the best and most well known video games out there.
