IOS 16 is Apple's latest iOS version and it brings a whole lot of features to the iPhone. Starting off, let's talk about the lock screen. With iOS 16, you can now customise your lock screen with stunning new features such as a new depth effect which allows you to position the subject of your image slightly infront of the time. You also get new fonts and widgets which can show you data such as the weather (these are very useful for the iPhone 14 pro's always on display). Adding on, you can also have multiple lock screens and you can set a focus to match each one. This means that if you change the focus mode of your iPhone, like from personal to work, the lock screen will change too. Lastly for the lock screen, notifications as well as live activities like a tracker for a food delivery appear at the bottom of the screen so that they don't cover much of your wallpaper.

Later this year, Apple states that they will update iOS 16 and bring a new feature called iCloud Shared Photo Library. This allows you to share selected photos with your family via iCloud so they can see them at any time. Talking about sharing, you can now edit messages you sent or even delete them if you want to. You can also mark a message as unread yourself in order to reply to it later. All of this, alongside the lock screen features, make up the most significant part of iOS 16.
